"Western" Style 1860 Army
The holster and skirt are a single piece of leather folded over to form the skirt and belt loop. The holster is secured to the skirt by the cross strap, riveted behind the skirt. Fitted with a hammer loop and leg-ties, the gun sits with the trigger guard exposed. A tan antique stain provides the coloring and sets off the edge stamping and diamond knife cuts. Integrating the loop-skirt-holster into a single unit seems to provide a tighter "hang" and keeps the revolver grip from wandering around on its own.
